Tiffany Anne Horn Thompson
Hi, my name is Tiffany Anne Horn Thompson. I am the oldest of Karen and Darrell’s children and depending on who you ask, possibly the bossiest… but I would rather call it strategic leadership skills. If you have read my mom’s bio you will know that we lived internationally as missionaries. I was 12 when we moved to Costa Rica for language school. When we moved to Venezuela, I attended boarding school (one of mom’s several “I will never” statements that came true). It was during those years at boarding school that I learned to make my faith my own. After graduating high school, we returned to Oklahoma where I attended college and graduated with a degree in Family Life Education with an emphasis in Marriage and Family. It was during college that I met my husband Travis and we got married. After college, I was blessed to stay home for several years with our two children (Jamie, 17, and Zachary, 15). It was during this time that God’s sense of humor won and I made my appearance in the public education scene. Since that first year, I graduated with a Masters of Education in School Counseling and recently completed the alternative Masters of Educational Leadership program. I am currently in my 5th year as a school counselor with plans of moving into administration when God opens the right door. One of the things I love about working in the school system is the endless opportunities there are to speak life into both the staff and students. |
