My Journey

I am Karen Daniel Horn. My husband Darrell Horn and I live in San Antonio, Texas. We have been married since August 7, 1982 and have five children, four of which are married. We have 11 grandchildren with our 12th one arriving in April 2022. We love to travel and spend time with friends. I have been a pastor's wife and have served along side Darrell as a missionary in Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Mexico City. We returned in October 2004 to the Houston area. Previously I have worked as a Case Manager for Texas Child Protective Services, as a School Special Education Counselor for autistic and emotionally disturbed children, an investigator for the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Lead Case Manager at the Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio. I currently work part time as a therapist (LCSW). I love being a wife, a mom, a grandmother and speaking to women in an effort to encourage them in their roles as women and mothers. My faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior is very important to me.
